The MOVO project will achieve its objectives by implementing a tailored approach to the inclusion of young adults in sports organizations’ activities and projects. This approach will not only enhance the attractiveness and operational reach of these organizations but also address the current gap in information. By doing so, MOVO will lay the groundwork for further research and project initiatives, fostering greater opportunities and career development in the sports field for young adults. The project will embed the following activities:
Training Format:
Will be focused on the empowerment of staff components of sports clubs and organizations in order to foster professionalism and strengthen their competencies in the frame of a phase of local activities in all partner countries.
Manual for Sports Organizations and Clubs:
Manual will be designed for Sports organisations and clubs interested in implementing active participation programmes for young adults interested in volunteering relaunching these latter organization’s activities post Covid-19.
Implementation of Local Activities Programme:
The implementation of a phase of local activities program will focus on empowering young adults interested in volunteering through sport-based workshops. These workshops will provide hands-on learning experiences aimed at fostering leadership skills, teamwork, and personal development. By leveraging the appeal of sports, the initiative aims to instill empowerment and cultivate a culture of volunteerism among participants.
Tool kit:
The MOVO toolkit will comprise all the materials gathered throughout the various activities of the project, alongside a series of workshops tailored for sports organizations and clubs. These workshops will aim to promote the career development of young adults within the sports industry, as well as provide guidance on effective volunteering.
